2009 STUDY GRANTS - THAILAND & VIETNAM
In September 2009, INTO OSU will make available a range of study grants
for suitably qualified students from Thailand and Vietnam to undertake
pathway studies at INTO Oregon State University.
There are six study grants available:
- 6 x USD $6,000 study grants towards INTO OSU pathway fees
The Pathway course at INTO OSU takes 9-12 months to complete and
leads into the second year (Sophomore) of a Bachelor Degree at Oregon
State University.
The INTO OSU 9-month pathway in Business or General Studies leads to
exciting study areas such as:
- Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship and
Business Administration.
- Anthropology, Applied Visual Arts, Art, Economics, English, Music,
Philosophy, Sociology, Speech Communication, Tourism, Interior
Design, Apparel Design, Merchandising Management, Health
Management and Recreation
The INTO OSU 12-month pathway in Science or Engineering leads to
exciting study areas such as:
- Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and
Manufacturing Engineering
- Biochemistry and Biophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science,
General Science, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Animal
Sciences, Food Science, Exercise & Sport Sciences, Nutrition & Food
Management, Environmental Science and many more
Course Fees
General or Business 9 month pathway USD $19,420
Science or Engineering 12 month pathway USD $20,720
Documentation Required
INTO OSU study grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit and
students wishing to make an application should submit:
• Latest academic transcript >>
• Vietnam- completion of Year 12 with average 6.8+
• Thailand- completion of Mathayom 6 with average 2.75+
• Evidence of English proficiency- minimum TOEFL IBT 53 / IELTS 5.0
Application Deadlines
Study grants are available for the September 2009 intake and
application deadlines are as per below:
Intake Monday 21 September 2009
Last Application Monday 3 August 2009*
*Applications will be assessed and awarded on a first-come first-serve
basis and once all grants are awarded the scheme will close.
